The Angelina County Exposition Center is East Texas's premiere multipurpose event center! Situated on 36 acres, the Expo Center has room for almost any event you can imagine and is home to the Texas State Forest Festival, Angelina County Fair, Angelina Benefit Rodeo, CBR's Bull Bash and the Pineywoods Purgatory Bike Ride.
The Angelina County Fair offers family entertainment to Lufkin and the surrounding cities. The goal of the Angelina County Fair is to support the youth of Angelina County through supporting their projects. Students of the county raise, build or bake projects to showcase at the Fair in hope of winning that prized position in the Auction on Saturday. We invite the community to come out to watch the students as they exhibit their projects for the judge.
Beth & Horace Stubblefield Learning Center is a non-traditional public high school focusing on dropout recovery and prevention. The goal of the school is to enable at-risk students to graduate with a diploma from their home school (Lufkin, Central, Hudson, Diboll or Zavalla), and to improve post-graduation training and employment.
