The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 11th Annual Salute to Healthcare banquet on Thursday, November 8th at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center.
The annual banquet honors the medical and healthcare professionals we have in Angelina County. An award ceremony recognizes the exemplary achievements of several individuals in the local medical community. Four awards are given: Nurse of the Year, Healthcare Professional of the Year, Individual of Merit, and a special Lifetime Achievement Award.
This year’s banquet features guest speaker, Dr. Jeremy Lyon, a retired superintendent of Frisco ISD who has had a 31 year career in education.
