The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce has assessed all the current projections for the weather forecast and river level possibilities. A very thoughtful decision has been made to CANCEL this year’s Neches River Rendezvous. The safety of the participants and volunteers is our number one concern.
The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce thanks all the sponsors and volunteers who worked hard to try and make the 2016 Neches River Rendezvous a success and hopes to see all our participants back in 2017.
Participants will receive a full reimbursement. Payments made by credit or debit card will be reapplied to the account. Payments made by cash or check will have a refund check printed. These checks will be mailed no later than Monday, June 6, 2016.
The Neches River Rendezvous is a scenic 10 mile canoe trip is designed to promote outdoor wilderness adventure in East Texas by framing a day of paddling with panoramic Neches River and beautiful forests.
