Welcome from the Chairman

On behalf of the Investors and Leadership of the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce, I welcome you to Lufkin and Angelina County. For 102 years, the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce has been a driving force behind ensuring that our local economy is strong and that our community is prosperous and vibrant.
It’s an incredible honor to serve alongside our outstanding Chamber Staff, my fellow Board Members, our Volunteers, Ambassadors, and most importantly - all of you - our Chamber Investors. You make our Chamber and our Community exceptional.
Our Mission is to advocate to improve economic prosperity and the business environment in our community. As a Chamber Investor, you directly contribute to the growth of an outstanding business climate that receives global recognition. Every day, we are proud to facilitate success, talent and innovation in Lufkin and Angelina County. The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce is a Connector of leaders and influencers, a Catalyst for business growth, and a Champion for a stronger community.
We continue to persevere during one of the most challenging and unprecedented periods of our nation’s history. Lufkin and Angelina County continues to thrive and reinforce the strength of the vision from years ago.  Through all we have experienced, I am proud that the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce has continued its programs and its promotion of the Lufkin and Angelina County business ecosystem. We are focused on the opportunities that lie ahead.
It is my great pleasure to have served on the Board and Executive Board of the Chamber for several years and it is an even greater pleasure to have the opportunity and distinction to serve as the Chairman during 2022. The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce, including its leadership, staff and investors are an integral part of the success of Lufkin and Angelina County and I am excited to be a part of that continued success. I look forward to working with prospective and existing investors as Lufkin and Angelina County continues to be a robust economic engine and a beloved hometown.
