Why Visit Diboll
Diboll thrives with small town friendliness and large town amenities. The Diboll community is situated perfectly on U.S. Route 59 (soon to be Interstate 69). We are minutes away from the public boat ramp on the Neches River, national forests and several lakes.
With a population brimming 5,000, the community boasts beautiful buildings, great neighborhoods, acreage and parks. Sixty-six acres of tall pines grace the beautiful Old Orchard Park with baseball fields, pavilions, covered basketball courts, volleyball and tennis courts, walking and bike trails, a splash pad, and playgrounds. In the center of the park is a pond and pier where families can feed the ducks and geese.
Neighboring Old Orchard Park is the luscious green grass of The Neches Pines Golf Course. Built by Mr. Temple, Neches Pines offers two distinct nines. The front 9 will challenge your skill set with tree-lined fairways and water features. The back 9 is open and reminiscent of a more links-style course. Add these two together and you have an incredible 18 holes that every golfer would want to experience. Or, sharpen your skills on the driving range and putting green. The Neches Pines also has a fully stocked pro shop to help you get the most out of your time on the course.
The award winning T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library (with over 46,000 holdings) and the amazing History Center (containing more than 1 million images) provide elegant meeting rooms of all sizes. The 5,400 sq. ft. Lottie and Arthur Temple Civic Center provides arts and entertainment throughout the year. Boasting a 2,900 sq. ft. stage and dance area, it is perfect for anything from bingo to quincenearas!
